Questions

Is ResumeStack really free?
Yes. Making a resume, every template and the PDF download are free, with no watermark and no sign-up.
Where is my resume saved?
In your browser on this device (IndexedDB), not on our servers. Clearing site data or using a private window removes it, so download a backup file now and then. You can import it on any device.
Will my resume work with applicant tracking systems (ATS)?
The PDF has real, selectable text, not an image, so job portals can read it. The Classic, Modern, Compact and Minimal templates use one column, which these systems read most reliably. Executive uses two columns and is better for resumes you send to a person.
Does it include Indian CV details?
Yes. There are fields for total experience, notice period and current city, which show in the header where Indian recruiters look for them. Templates are sized for A4.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The editor works on phones and tablets, and the PDF downloads to your device.
What about the AI suggestions?
They are optional and invite-only during the beta. When you use them, only the text for that task is sent, never your name, email, phone number, city or links. Nothing changes in your resume until you choose to use a suggestion.
